RULES OF USE

The more you use your card, the more $$$ you save while you “Shop the Antelope Valley. Buying this card not only helps our charities, but also builds a strong community, keeps local residents employed, supports local public services, like our Sheriff and Fire Departments, Parks and much more by taxes paid by local businesses. So use your card, save money and thank the businesses for their sponsorship and participation in the program.
Your card identifies you as a member of the Antelope Valley Community Club entitling you to savings on services and products used everyday. By purchasing and accepting the Membership Card, you agree to comply with these Rules of Use.
By following these simple rules, you will maximize your savings. All discounts in this book Expire on December 31, 2010 unless otherwise noted.
* There is no need to carry the Discount Book with you to receive your discount, but you do need to carry your Discount Card. Just present your membership card to the merchant at the time of your order and/or before your order is totaled. You must show your card to receive the discount. If you don’t have your card or forget to show your card before your bill is totaled, no discount will be given.
* Membership Cards are nontransferable and can only be used by the person who purchased the card and may not be shared with other people. Sharing the use of the card constitutes fraud and merchant has the right to refuse discount. AV Community Club or non-profit agencies are not responsible for lost or stolen discount cards.
* Please read Merchant discount offers carefully, noting any limitations or restrictions to the offer. Discount offers from the businesses apply only to products and services listed in their offer.
* When dining out, only one card many be used for every 2 people, with a maximum of 2 cards per group, per visit unless otherwise stated in Merchants offer.
* Remember to recognize satisfactory service given by tipping 15-20% of the total bill before the discount is subtracted. Remember your servers depend on tips for a portion of their income.
* No discounts will be given on Alcoholic Beverages unless specified by merchant.
* All discounts given will be on items of equal to or lesser value items and according to offer by merchant. Membership cards may not be used with any other offers, coupons, sales or specials.
* Participating merchants have agreed to provide the discounts described in the Antelope Valley Community Club Merchant’s Directory. Merchants reserve the right to upgrade, change or discontinue their discounts as allowed by their agreement with the Club and in addition the Club reserves the right to upgrade the Directory from time to time.
* Cards and Catalogs may not be duplicated in any way shape or form. .Reproductions of the Discount Cards or contents of Antelope Valley Community Club Discount Books, in whole or in part, are prohibited unless written AV Community Club gives permission.
* Discounts are not valid on the following days: New Year's Eve and Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day.
* Non-Liability: The Antelope Valley Community Club or its agents will not be responsible, nor will Member be entitled to any refund, if any Merchant breaches its agreement or refuses to honor the terms of any benefits; however the Club will attempt to secure compliance. The Antelope Valley Community Club is not responsible for the conditions or safety at the Merchant's location or for alleged bodily injury or property damage from any accident or mishap on the part of any Merchant occurring at the Merchant's place of business. The Club is not responsible for the claims, guarantees or representations of any Merchant. The Club shall be held harmless for printing errors or omissions. The Club's liability in all events shall be limited to the amount paid for the membership.
