How long has the AV Community Club been serving the Antelope Valley?
The Antelope Valley Community Club has been around since 2002 with a mission to promote "Shopping Local", to raise needed funds for our local Non-profit organizations and to save local consumers money on goods and services that they use every day.  We started with approximately 100 businesses and have grown to over 370 participating merchants, adding more and more value.

I love this program!  Can I promote my business by offering a discount? 
Yes you can!  Just fill out the request form for your FREE business listing.  Your business will be added and highlighted in the New Participating Businesses section.  Display ads are optional and are very affordable if you choose.  You can call us at (661) 943-6864 for more info.

My organization is looking for a good fundraiser
The AV Community Club is committed to helping our local organizations raise money by promoting participating businesses in our "Shop Local" campaign.  Our Fundraising programs are easy and profitable with a return to the organization of up to 75%!   Just sell the discount cards to your family, friends and neighbors.  If you know of any charity that is looking for an easy way to raise funds, please have them contact us for details.  Click here for more info

How do I know when you add new businesses to the program?

We will be adding businesses as they sign up under the ‘new business’ section.   You can sign up for our newsletter to receive information on new businesses, business specials and more as well as sign up for your FREE Subscription to the
Golden Poppy Online Magazine to keep up with ‘What’s Happening' in the AV.

I've noticed that my favorite business or restaurant doesn't participate in the AV Community Club  program.
Why not?
We are always looking for new businesses to be added to the program.  Be sure to tell the managers of your favorite stores that you would like to see them participate with AV Community Club!
It is FREE to participate!  Sometimes a business is part of a major chain or is owned by a corporation that does not permit local advertising – even if it’s FREE! 

What if I have a problem with a participating business?   
We strive to have all of our businesses adhere to their discounts that they offer.  In a rare case that an issue may arise concerning a posted discount, please contact us to discuss the situation so that we can communicate with the business.   The idea is to connect good businesses with good customers for the benefit of both.  That concept usually works out well and that is our goal.
